Attorney Profiles | Tyler Ross

Tyler Ross is a Principal of Bloomfield Hills, MI - based ROCO Real Estate, LLC, an owner and operator of multifamily housing properties throughout the Midwest and Southeastern United States. Tyler comes from a long lineage of real estate owners and developers. In 1921, Tyler's family founded Edward Rose & Sons and throughout four generations has grown the family firm to its present ownership of more than 57,000 apartment units. Mr. Ross began his real estate career working for his family company, where he learned all facets of the business from financing to development and management.

In 2012, Mr. Ross founded ROCO Real Estate along with his life-long friends, David & Michael Colman. Currently, ROCO Owns and operates a portfolio of over 11,000 multifamily apartment units throughout 8 states. In just over three years ROCO has built a portfolio with a fair market value of over $500,000,000.

Mr. Ross was born in Royal Oak, MI on November 15, 1985. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 2008 and his Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School in 2011. Among other organizations, he is an active member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Tyler Ross and ROCO Real Estate have been featured in national media outlets including Business Insider and Entrepreneur, as well as local publications Crains, Hour Detroit and DBusiness. He is fluent in French and Madarin Chinese.
